Pressed Cleaners

In the fall of 2006, I opened an environmentally-friendly dry cleaner in SOMA. There were a lack of dry cleaners in the neighborhood and there were none that were safe for the planet. The idea was to have a cleaners that was inexpensive, informative, clean (the clothes were behind curtains so that the customers didn't have to see clutter), and easy on the earth. Pressed fulfilled that need!

I needed a counter, a sign to hang out front and custom curtain rods to conceal the clothes. Richard stepped in and created the amazing sign in the photo to the right and the counter in the photo below. Both items fulfilled my vision to a T. I was ecstatic. As you can imagine, a counter in a dry cleaner takes a lot of stress. The counter held up and really defined who we were -- we weren't sporting a chipped, pink formica cash wrap! We wanted our customers to feel like everything was top of the line and they didn't need to pay the price for that. The items Richard designed and fabricated fit the bill. This is what we can do for your business or home!!
